Costa Rica Opens New Cloud Forest Reserve to Tourists
Costa Rica inaugurated the 12,000-hectare Monteverde Cloud Forest Extension on 20 May 2026. The new reserve adds 45 kilometres of hiking trails and canopy walkways. Entry fees start at 15 USD for international visitors.
