United Airlines confirmed daily nonstop service from Chicago O'Hare to Singapore Changi Airport beginning July 1 2026. Flight UA875 departs Chicago at 11:55 a.m. and arrives the next day at 6:20 p.m. local time with a flight duration of 16 hours 25 minutes. Return flights UA876 leave Singapore at 11:10 p.m. and arrive Chicago at 6:05 a.m.

The carrier selected the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner configured with 45 Polaris business class seats 84 Premium Plus seats and 128 economy seats. Introductory round-trip fares start at $1,299 in economy and $4,899 in business class for travel through September.

United previously operated the route seasonally before suspending it in 2020. Singapore Changi handled 62 million passengers in 2025 and ranks among the world's busiest international hubs. The new flight restores direct connectivity lost during the pandemic.

What this means for you

Book award space quickly as United releases only 10 business class award seats per flight initially. Download the United app to track schedule changes and gate information during the first month of operations. Consider a stopover in Chicago if connecting from smaller U.S. cities to take advantage of the new daily frequency.

Pack a carry-on with essentials for the long flight including noise-canceling headphones and compression socks. Arrive at Chicago O'Hare at least three hours early due to new security procedures for international departures implemented in May 2026.

The route strengthens United's Pacific network and may add a second daily frequency by 2027 if load factors exceed 85 percent as projected.
