Flight BA059 departs at 2100 arriving 0830 next day with return BA058 leaving Cape Town at 2000. Fares start at 485 GBP economy and 1890 GBP business class roundtrip.

The aircraft configuration includes 90 Club World seats 52 premium economy and 327 economy. Onboard amenities feature new South African wine pairings and WiFi speeds up to 100 Mbps. Load factors on existing thrice-weekly service averaged 92 percent in Q1 2026.

Background shows recovery in UK-South Africa travel after earlier pandemic restrictions with passenger numbers up 41 percent year over year. Cape Town tourism board projects 1.2 million UK visitors this season. Competing carriers like Virgin Atlantic operate only five weekly flights on the route.
