Singapore Airlines Launches Nonstop Singapore to Seattle Route

Singapore Airlines will operate daily nonstop flights between Singapore and Seattle starting 15 August 2026. The new route uses Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 42 business-class seats. It becomes the carrier’s fourth US gateway after New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Singapore Airlines confirmed the daily SIN-SEA service on 1 June with first departure from Singapore at 23:55 arriving Seattle at 22:10 the same calendar day. Return flights depart Seattle at 00:05 and arrive Singapore at 06:55 the following day. The schedule uses the airline’s latest A350-900 long-range configuration featuring 42 business, 24 premium economy and 187 economy seats.

Introductory one-way business-class fares start at SGD 2,899 including taxes for travel through September. Economy fares begin at SGD 798 one-way. Bookings opened immediately on the airline website and through major global distribution systems.

The route fills a gap left after United Airlines reduced its seasonal Seattle-Singapore frequency in 2025. Seattle’s growing tech corridor and direct access to the Pacific Northwest national parks drove demand according to Changi Airport traffic data showing 12 percent year-on-year growth in US West Coast passengers.

Singapore Airlines already operates 77 weekly flights to the United States and will reach 84 with the new service. The carrier expects the route to carry 180,000 passengers annually in its first full year of operation.

What this means for you

Book early for August and September departures to secure the lowest introductory fares before they rise in October. Use the airline’s mobile app to select seats at booking since A350 business-class reverse herringbone seats fill quickly on new long-haul launches.

Passengers connecting from Europe or Australia should allow at least three hours at Changi for the new service because of increased security screening for US-bound flights. Check the airline’s website for seasonal schedule adjustments after the initial winter timetable is published in July.

The addition strengthens Singapore’s position as the premier Asian gateway to the US Pacific Northwest and gives travellers more schedule flexibility for both leisure and corporate travel through 2027.
