Singapore Airlines announced the daily SIN-SEA route on May 25 with first flight scheduled for September 15 2026. The carrier will deploy its latest A350-900 featuring 42 business, 24 premium economy and 187 economy seats. Flight time averages 15 hours 40 minutes eastbound.

Seattle-Tacoma airport will gain its first direct link to Southeast Asia. Microsoft and Amazon employees have lobbied for the connection since 2024. Introductory business class fares start at $3,200 round-trip until October 31.

Passengers can connect onward to Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila on the same day. Codeshare partners Alaska Airlines and Starlux will feed traffic from US West Coast cities. Cargo capacity increases by 25 tons daily for electronics shipments.

Ground handling at SEA will feature new Singapore Airlines lounges opening August 2026. Travelers must complete US ESTA or visa requirements before boarding. The airline plans to add a second daily frequency by March 2027 if load factors exceed 82 percent.

Current Singapore-Seattle passengers route through Tokyo or Los Angeles adding four to six hours. The nonstop saves significant time for frequent corporate travelers. Advance seat selection opens 48 hours after booking.

Airport authorities confirmed gate 14 at SEA international terminal for the service. Fuel-efficient A350 engines reduce CO2 emissions by 20 percent versus older 777 aircraft. Sustainability reports will be published quarterly.

Bookings open June 1 via singaporeair.com and major global distribution systems. Early bird economy fares start at $980 round-trip. The route strengthens Singapore's position as a transpacific hub.
