Expedia announced its largest European summer promotion on 21 May 2026. Customers booking by 31 May receive 25 percent off hotel rates for travel in July and August. The sale includes major cities and beach destinations across the continent.

Participating properties range from boutique hotels in Lisbon to resorts in the Greek islands. Average savings per booking are estimated at 180 USD for a seven-night stay. The promotion is available to all customers worldwide via the Expedia app and website.

Travelers must pay in full at the time of booking to secure the discount. Cancellations follow standard hotel policies with no additional penalties. Expedia expects the sale to drive record European bookings ahead of the peak season.

Popular routes from North America to Europe have seen increased search volume since the announcement. The company partnered with 18 national tourism boards to promote lesser-visited regions. Dynamic pricing ensures availability remains open across price points.

Users can combine the hotel discount with existing flight deals for further savings. The promotion excludes properties in the United Kingdom and Ireland due to separate campaigns. Expedia will send confirmation emails with all booking details within 24 hours.

Industry observers note the timing coincides with strong transatlantic demand forecasts. The sale represents the largest percentage discount offered by the platform since 2023. Further flash sales are expected throughout June.
