Hunnu Air announced on May 13, 2026, the addition of three new international routes from Ulaanbaatar for the summer season. Daily flights to Seoul Incheon, four weekly to Tokyo Narita and three weekly to Beijing Capital begin in June.
The expansion follows strong demand from Mongolian tourists and business travellers seeking easier access to East Asian hubs. All new routes use Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Fares to Seoul start from $320 return, with introductory promotions offering 20 percent off for bookings made before June 1.
Mongolian civil aviation authorities granted all necessary approvals, and partner airlines in South Korea, Japan and China confirmed slot availability.
The carrier also increased frequencies to Irkutsk and Almaty to meet summer holiday demand.
Airport infrastructure upgrades at Ulaanbaatar’s Chinggis Khaan International Airport support the higher passenger volumes.
Travel advisors recommend booking early as capacity on the new routes is expected to sell out quickly during peak summer months.
