Air Cairo confirmed the launch of Hurghada–Amman services from May 25, 2026, operating initially three times weekly and increasing to four by mid-June. The airline uses Airbus A320 aircraft on the 90-minute flight.
The new link supports growing leisure traffic from Jordan to Egypt’s popular beach destinations and facilitates easier travel for Egyptian workers in Jordan.
Round-trip fares start from $180 including taxes, with promotional rates available for the first month of operation.
Both airports have streamlined check-in and security procedures to accommodate the additional flights. Jordanian and Egyptian authorities approved the route without additional restrictions.
Travel agents in Amman report strong early bookings for summer packages combining Red Sea diving with Petra visits.
The service complements existing Cairo–Amman flights and strengthens Air Cairo’s regional network in the Middle East.
Passengers are reminded to carry valid passports and check current entry requirements for both countries before travel.
