I'm Lory, a 38-year-old blogger and explorer based in Abruzzo, Italy. I run Greenwingo, a blog dedicated to the villages, landscapes, and quieter corners of one of Italy's least-discovered regions.
I'm drawn to places that have a story to tell — abandoned villages, ancient borghi, hilltop towns that time seems to have forgotten. I hike to find them, and I write to share them. My approach is slow, intentional, and always personal.

A village abandoned over the course of the twentieth century, now scattered with contemporary art installations among the ruins. Higher up in the Val di Sangro — not on any major tourist map, not easy to find. That's exactly the point.
