Air Canada launched a 40 percent discount on all domestic flights within Western Canada for tickets booked by July 20. The promotion applies to travel dates from July 25 through December 15. Eligible routes connect Vancouver Calgary Edmonton Saskatoon and Winnipeg.
Fares start at 89 dollars one-way on the Vancouver-Calgary corridor after the discount. Business class receives a flat 35 percent reduction instead of 40 percent. The sale excludes basic economy and award tickets.
Air Canada last ran a similar regional promotion in February 2026. Load factors on these routes averaged 78 percent during the spring shoulder season. The carrier added two daily frequencies between Edmonton and Winnipeg starting July 1.
What this means for you
Search and book before midnight July 20 using the airline website or app to secure the discount. Combine the fare with existing multi-city options for trips visiting both Banff and Jasper. Avoid basic economy if you need flexibility as changes incur 150 dollar fees.
Check your credit card for companion certificate eligibility to stack additional savings. Families should book connecting itineraries through Calgary to access free seat selection for children.
The discounted fares are expected to sell out within 48 hours on popular Friday and Sunday flights.
