Emirates confirmed the daily Dubai-Perth service begins October 5 with flight EK429 leaving Dubai International at 03:25 and landing in Perth at 21:55. The return EK430 departs Perth at 00:50 and arrives Dubai at 06:30 the next day. The airline will deploy 354-seat Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route.

Perth Airport will gain 14 additional weekly frequencies compared with the previous three-times-weekly schedule. Emirates will also increase cargo capacity by 28 tonnes per week on the corridor.

The expansion follows record demand on the existing Dubai-Perth flights during the 2025-2026 Australian summer. Tourism Western Australia partnered with Emirates on a 4 million Australian dollar co-marketing campaign targeting the Middle East and India.

Competitor Qantas currently operates daily Perth-Dubai flights but has not announced capacity increases. Analysts predict average fares could drop 12 percent once the new Emirates service stabilises.

What this means for you

Book the inaugural October 5 flight now for introductory fares starting at 685 Australian dollars round-trip. Select seats in rows 40-50 for extra legroom at no additional charge during the first month. Connect onward to European destinations via Dubai with minimal layover times.

The route strengthens Perth as a gateway for travellers from Africa and the Middle East exploring Western Australia’s national parks.
