Air Canada launched a transatlantic fare sale on July 2 cutting economy prices by 28 percent on routes to 18 European cities. Sample fares include Toronto to London at 489 Canadian dollars round-trip and Montreal to Paris at 529 dollars. Business class discounts reach 22 percent with Toronto-Frankfurt tickets from 1899 dollars.
The promotion covers 45 weekly flights across the network with travel valid September 1 to November 30 2026. Blackout dates apply around Canadian Thanksgiving. The carrier cited softer summer demand and competition from European carriers as reasons for the cuts.
Air Canada carried 2.4 million passengers on Atlantic routes in 2025 representing 19 percent of total traffic. The airline added four weekly flights to Lisbon this summer and plans further frequency increases next year.
