Lufthansa confirmed daily Munich-Singapore nonstop service launching September 15 2026 using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Flight LH792 departs Munich at 1430 arriving Changi at 0830 the next day. Return LH791 leaves Singapore at 2330 reaching Munich at 0600.

Introductory business class fares start at 1850 euros roundtrip for September travel booked before July 15. Premium economy opens at 920 euros while economy begins at 520 euros. Codeshare partners include Singapore Airlines for seamless connections onward to Southeast Asia.

The carrier last flew this route in 2019 before pandemic cuts. Munich Airport expansions completed in 2025 now support the added long-haul capacity with new terminal gates.

Competitors including Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines already serve the corridor via Doha and Istanbul hubs. Lufthansa aims to capture direct traffic from southern Germany and Austria.

What this means for you

Connect from Frankfurt or Zurich using Star Alliance partners to avoid extra fees. Pack a light jacket as cabin temperatures average 22 degrees Celsius on night flights.

The new link will accelerate 2027 winter holiday bookings from Europe to Bali and Australia via Singapore.
