EasyJet released 500,000 seats at £29 one-way on 50 routes from UK airports including London Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh. The sale covers destinations such as Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon and domestic flights to Belfast. Bookings close at midnight on 30 May 2026.

Fares include 15kg cabin baggage but exclude seat selection and priority boarding. Passengers can add 23kg hold luggage for £25 each way during booking. The airline expects the promotion to sell out within 48 hours based on previous campaigns.

Routes to Spain and Italy dominate the sale with 22 and 14 destinations respectively. New additions include direct flights from Bristol to Faro and Newcastle to Prague. EasyJet has increased aircraft utilisation to meet anticipated demand during the summer peak.

Travel agents note strong interest from families planning budget holidays. Average booking values have risen as customers add extras such as travel insurance and hotel packages. The airline operates 320 aircraft across its network and plans further capacity increases in July.

Customers must complete bookings via the EasyJet website or app to secure the fare. Payment by credit card incurs a £1.99 fee while debit cards are free. Refunds are available only under the airline's standard flexible fare rules.

Industry observers view the sale as a response to increased competition from Ryanair and Wizz Air. EasyJet aims to maintain load factors above 90 percent during the high season. The promotion supports post-pandemic recovery in leisure travel.

Travellers should compare total costs including extras before confirming. The sale provides affordable options for spontaneous summer getaways across Europe. EasyJet continues to expand its UK base network with additional aircraft deliveries scheduled later this year.
