Ryanair confirmed four new Spanish routes from Dublin Airport beginning 1 July 2026. The airline will serve Zaragoza, Valladolid, Badajoz and Logroño twice weekly. Each route operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The expansion adds 32 weekly flights and 6,000 seats from Ireland’s busiest airport. Ryanair cited strong summer demand and competitive airport charges as key drivers. Spanish tourism authorities welcomed the increased connectivity to lesser-known regions.
Introductory fares start at 19 EUR one-way when booked before 15 June. Passengers must pay for seat selection and checked bags separately. The carrier projects 85 percent load factors on the new services during peak months.
Travel agents note growing interest in off-the-beaten-path Spanish destinations among Irish holidaymakers. Zaragoza offers direct access to the Pyrenees while Valladolid serves wine regions in Castilla y León. Ryanair will base one additional aircraft at Dublin to support the schedule.
Airport operators in the four Spanish cities invested in terminal upgrades ahead of the launch. Ground handling agreements were signed with Swissport and local partners. Ryanair plans to evaluate year-round operations based on winter performance data.
Bookings opened immediately on the airline website and app. The routes complement existing services to Madrid and Barcelona. Industry analysts expect Aer Lingus to respond with schedule adjustments later this summer.
